First grade really hit me hard!!! I didn't expect it.. I knew I would miss him but I never knew I would feel so so sad.. I think it is because he is no longer a baby. In kindergarten it is ok to snuggle up on your mom and still be dependent to a degree. But in 1st grade those things change or so I thought all day yesterday. Then when I went to pick him up I went through the pick up line and got out and waited on the sidewalk for him. When he saw me he ran up to me and jumped up into my arms. So needless to say I feel much better.. He still loves and needs his mommy :)

It is soo true..when they hit first grade..they gain a new independence..which I guess is good for them..sad for us!! Love the pics he is such a handsome boy!! Yes we will get them together soon!! :)
