Today my sweet baby boy is 7.. I am typing it yet I don't believe it. It can't possibly be 7 years ago that this amazing kiddo entered the world. But since it is 2010 and he was born in 2003 I guess it is so :)

There are a million things about Eli that I love but I thought telling the 7 things I love the most would be appropriate
So Eli here it is... Please know you are one of the sweetest kids I have ever met and I am so glad God allowed me to be your mommy! What a treasure you are!
1 I love how empathetic you are. What a great attribute to a 7 year old. It is heart melting how you react to children who are less fortunate or has special needs. It makes me to know that you will grow up to be a very wonderful man!
2 I love how respectful and well behaved you are in school. It is a great feeling when faculty and staff tell me what a great kid you are.
3 I LOVE to watch for you to come to the car at pick up because everyday without fail you have this beautiful smile on your face and when you climb in you always say how much you missed me and please know I have missed you as well!!
4 I love how you and Ethan have become best buds! You are a great big brother!! Sure you guys fuss and fight but you guys also have each others backs and that is always what I pictured in my mind when I found out you were getting a brother!
5 I love how whole heartedly you love everyone. You don't have favorites you truly love whoever you are with. And I love that you make people feel loved. You are polite and will out of no where hug or tell someone how much you love them or love being with them. And I can see how much that affects the ones you do that too.
6 I love how wild and crazy you are!!!! You make me laugh everyday and you know that is my favorite thing to do! You are a true blue entertainer! You are an awesome dancer and singer! And you will do anything to make people laugh. You and I are so much alike that it completely blows me away!! You are one of my bestest buddies and I love talking to you about your day!!
7 Most of all I love that you are my son and that you love me like you do and you show me daily. You make Daddy and I feel so special and you mean everything to us!!

Alicia, how can he possibly be 7 years old? Ugh! You are right though. There are a million things to love about him.

I am CRYING like a baby! It reminded me how much that I love him too. He is exactly what you described and you are so lucky to have him for your son (of course, Ethan too - I just don't know him as well). Beautiful post!
